The questions our support team is asked most often.

Who we are

We are a private document-preparation and expediting service, not affiliated with the U.S. Department of State or any government agency. Every passport is issued only by the U.S. government, and you can always apply directly at travel.state.gov without paying our service fee. Our value is review, preparation, error-prevention, and tracking.

When is my card charged?

Your card is authorized when you place your order, and the charge is completed later while we process it. Cancellations and refunds follow our Refund Policy.

What do I pay the government versus the service?

Government fees are set by the U.S. Department of State and are separate from our service fee. They are shown separately at checkout. Depending on your application type and the service you select, government fees may be collected with your order or paid separately — you will be told which applies to your order. Our service fee covers eligibility routing, document review, photo compliance checks, preparation, mailing with tracking, and status updates.

How fast can I get a passport?

Government processing currently runs about 4–6 weeks routine or 2–3 weeks expedited (the State Department’s $60 expedite fee, plus $26.87 for 1–3 day return delivery of a passport book). Our service tiers control the preparation side — our review, preparation, and mailing before the government clock starts — and each tier’s current preparation window is shown on our pricing page. For life-or-death emergencies or travel within 14 days, the State Department’s own appointment system is the right path — we’ll tell you so honestly.
